The types 30883 … are fitted with a NS ground joint made of PTFE.
The types 30882 … are fitted with a NS ground joint made of borosilicate glass. The counter ring is direct on top of the glass part.
* The ground joint is thermostated. So it is possible to remove the process heat direct at the counter ring out of the seal.

These mechanical seals have a double sealing system. This way the sealing area is on one side sealed to the product area and on the other side to the bearing area. The sealing chamber is water cooled and can’t be heated by process heat or frictional heat.
The Types P are pressure compensated in the sealing area.
The Types G are gas washed in the sealing area.
All variants can also be used dry running with a limited rpm.
As a barrier medium water and oils can be used.
Atex versions are in EXII 2 G c/k TX available. The product chamber must be inertgas filled at all times.
