Compressed air industrial stirrers are ATEX-rated for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and perform routine mixing tasks up to 200 litres.

Compressed air stirrer with screw thread connection for barrel type AFR 64 (fig. 1)

AFR series stirrers are specially designed for the use with DIN standard industrial drums. They may be screwed directly into the 2″ bunghole by means of the AFR adapter.

Basic models include:

• AFR screw thread adapter for standard industrial drums with 2″ bungholes
• Tubing clip connector
• Connection coupling VK 14×14 mm

Compressed air floor standing stirrer type BSR 64 (fig. 2)

Stirring rotors for compressed air industrial stirrers

Propeller stirring rotor type PR

The 3-blade propellers produce axial flow, and reduce shear forces to a minimum, even at high stirring speeds, thanks to their optimised blade design. Recommended for medium to high speed operations. Model type PR 4 as screw design.

Dissolver stirring rotor type DS

This stirres creates a radial flow with high turbulence. The mixture is drawn from top to bottom. High shear forces are created at the dissolver disk, which provides effective particle reduction. Recommended for medium to high speed operations.

BuddeMix stirring systems

These stirres create inherent dynamic currents to produce perfectly homogeneous mixing results in very little time. This means gentle, low-shear stirring at slow stirring speed.

BuddeMix swing-out stirring system SW

This centrifugal stirrer is specially designed for the use with industrial drums and containers. Foldable stirrers available for bunghole openings of 2″ to 150 mm.
