The total length of a stirrer is the length of the stirrer without the connection part for the coupling. This coupling end is always 40 mm long and is not integrated in the stirrer length. So a stirrer with a length of 500 mm has a total length of 540 mm.
The coupling end of the stirrer can be 8 and 10 mm for the 10 mm stirrers or 14 and 16 mm for the 16 mm stirrers. Larger stirrers 20/22 mm and 40 mm don´t use such coupling ends, because these stirrers have a special conical end to connect to our mechanical seal DN 40 or DN 80.
We deliver the stirrers in a 20 mm length steps. For a higher charge we deliver also stirrers with a special length. The length and the diameter of the coupling end will be added to the length of the stirrer.
